How did she became famous?
Rani Laxmi bai became famous for her military leadership. First she was an ordinary girl and then married Raja Gangadhar Rao Newwalker who is the 5th king of Jhansi and became a great ruler of Jhansi. She became famous for her fighting skills against the British people which was the war of independence.
Dress style of Jhansi-Ki-Rani
She did wear a sari to fight the British people, even though she wore a sari to fight the British people she bravely and like a man fought with the swords, but one day she went to a garden and saw a horse. She went near the horse to control it, she couldn’t control it and she fell down, got injured. From that day on she wore male warrior dress.

Rani laxmi Bai was a queen of Jhansi, she was born on 11/19/1829, and died on 6/18/1858. She had a son named Damodar Rao, Anand Rao. Rani Laxmi Bai’s Husband Raja Gangadhar Rao Newalkar who was born in 1797, and died in 11/21/1853.
